Completed sculpture of Catua and Omptua, Tesuque Pueblo runners from 1680, carrying a knotted cord made of yucca, a revolt message not know to them. They were tortured and killed on the Santa Fe Plaza on August 9th, sparking the beginning of the Pueblo Revolt August 10, 1680. Sculpted by GeorgeRiveraStudio for Pueblo of Tesuque and the City of Santa Fe.
